Leah Dawn Braddock 59, of Joshua, Texas left her earthly home to her heavenly home, Saturday, August 24,2024.
Leah Dawn was born September 2, 1964, to Curtis Don and Patsy Anita (Montgomery) Braddock in Cleburne, Texas where she was raised and lived for most of her life. She lived in Joshua, Texas the last years of her life.
Leah worked in the Cafeteria of Coleman Elementary in Cleburne for many years and was a great cook. Leah loved interacting with the children and truly love doing what she did. She retired in March of 2021.
Also, Leah attended Coleman Elementary (1-5 grade). It is true what they say, “Once a Colt, always a Colt”.
Leah was kindhearted and would do anything for you if she was able to do so. Her bright personality could light up a room. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends talking and laughing. She loved to sit outside and watch for hummingbirds and cardinals.
Also, she had a love for Music, where she would attend The American Legion Post 50 in Cleburne, Texas to listen to local bands. Just to name a few: Santa Fe Station Band, Keystone Country Band, Backwoodshine Band and Justin Hunter Band etc.…
Survived by her son, Preston Blake Braddock and wife Brandi, brother, Gary Braddock, sister, Hope Braddock Kunkel and husband Keith, nephews-Jeremy Hillock and wife Norma, Colby Braddock and wife Kaitlyn. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and great nephews. Best Friends- Phyllis Davis, Angie Solis and many other friends and extended family. Her beloved grand dogs, Levin and Ronga.
She is preceded in death by her Parents, Don and Patsy Braddock, granddaughter Rose Dawn Braddock and nephew Bradley Aaron Kunkel.
Memorials: in lieu of flowers the family ask that donation be made to American Legion Post 50. Cleburne, TX.
