Lois Foster Campbell

Lois Foster Campbell passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 6, 2023 at the age of 89. 

 

 Lois was born at the Lawrence Ranch in Montague County, Texas and was raised in Bowie, graduating from Bowie High School with the class of 1951.   She graduated August, 1955 with a bachelor’s degree in Home Economics Education from Texas Tech.  Later, she completed her master’s degree, MED (master’s in education- counseling) from Texas Woman’s University.

 

Lois was a public-school teacher for 36 years and retired from HEBISD in 1998.   Lois will be remembered for her love of life, family and friends and will be greatly missed.

 

Lois was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, M.E. Campbell and son, Mark Eugene Campbell. 

 

 Survivors include daughters, Seba Carole Schuessler, Carma Schellhorn and husband, David; daughter in law, Veronica Campbell, son Mike Edward Campbell and wife, Tracy;  grandchildren, Amanda Atwood and husband Aaron, Bert Schuessler and wife, Heidi,  Kristin McConnell and husband, Shaun, Jonathan Whitney and wife, Devony, Nathan Campbell and Taylor Campbell; great-grandchildren, Annabelle Martorelli, Todd Atwood, Alexander Schuessler, Tyler and Kayden McConnell, Kenzley, Delilah and Stetson Campbell.
