Nettie Myrl London, 75, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019. She was born to the late Fred and Edna Phillips on April 11, 1944 in Ferris, TX.
Myrl was a devoted Wife, Mother and Ma. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved cooking, baking and sewing; all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren have blankets that she made for them. She loved shopping of all kinds, Walmart, JoAnn’s and Canton to name a few. She loved to play dominoes and yes, she won every time. She was an arm wrestler and played softball. She enjoyed traveling, going to Branson and going to the shows. She enjoyed camping and fishing. She collected Precious Moments. She had a large collection, possibly one of every kind. Mostly she enjoyed just being with family.
Myrl is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Edna Phillips; two sisters, Juanita and Lucille; four brothers, Bailey, Raymond, Jerry and Tommy.
She is survived by her husband of 58 wonderful years, Harley London of Arlington; sons, Randal and wife Rebecca of Itasca, Ronnie and wife Julie of Alvarado, Donald and wife Kathy of Alvarado; grandchildren, Terry and wife Deeanna, Chelsea and husband Clayton, Brittany and husband Derik, Lacey and husband Chad, Ashley and husband Kris, Jared and wife Racheal, Ethan and Bryson; great-grandchildren, Dakota, Dayton, Harley, Reagan, Coy, Charlotte, Kyla, Keegan, Addison, Brooklyn and Korbin with two more on the way; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, November 29, 2019 at Skyvue Funeral Home – Mansfield.
