Lydia Ann Potts

Lydia Ann Potts, of Mansfield, Texas, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024 at the age of 69.

Graveside Service: 10:30 AM Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.

Lydia was born on May 17, 1954 in York, PA to Elwood Slonaker and Hilda Martin Slonaker.

Upon graduating high school, Lydia went on to get her bachelor's in accounting and worked as a tax accountant and author.

She loved reading, crocheting, shopping, writing and spending time with her family.

Lydia is preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Daniel Potts; parents, Elwood and Hilda Slonaker; sister, Sandy Peer.

She is survived by her daughter, Wendy McKinnon and husband, Terrence; son, David Potts; sister, Susan Musselman; grandchildren, Jujuane McKinnon, Terrence D. McKinnon and wife, Isabella McKinnon, Jaden McKinnon and Mikel McKinnon; great-grandchildren, Ezra McKinnon, Malachi McKinnon; nieces, Danielle Eckert, Gabrielle Frelak; nephews, Michael Ernst; and numerous other extended family members and loving friends.
