Michael Earl Manire went to be with Jesus on January 9, 2021. Michael was born on January 25, 1949 in Fort Worth, TX to Edmond Leroy Manire and Mildred Yvonne Manire who both preceded him in death. Michael would tell you the most important decision he ever made was accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. The second was marrying the love of his life, Victoria Lynn Bothe, on August 1, 1969. They were richly blessed with two sons and recently celebrated 51 years of marriage.
Michael had many passions and God given talents. He was a locomotive engineer for 29 years at Union Pacific Railroad and loved running trains...though occasionally he would wreck one.
Michael devoted his life to serving God and loving his family and friends well. Michael was considered a counselor, comforter, and mentor to many, a mechanic and handyman for his family and friends, and the glue that held the family together. He joyfully served the church in various roles and felt honored to do so. He was a founding member of Caribbean Baptist Mission Society as Treasurer, and he was endlessly dedicated to making a difference in the lives of his Haitian brothers and sisters. He truly lived out the Great Commission and was a steadfast warrior for God’s kingdom.
Michael is survived by his wife Victoria, brother Robert, sister Sherry, sons Matt and Scott, daughter-in-laws Shinobu and LaDona, and his seven grandchildren Aika, Makenna, Emily, Hannah, Mika, Kyla and Hiro. His visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Hallmark Baptist Church 4201 W. Risinger Rd. Fort Worth, TX 76123 The service will be held at Hallmark Baptist Church on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 11:00 A.M.
