A memorial service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church in Fort Worth, Texas.
He was born on May 17, 1944 in West Bend, Wisconsin.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents David and Phyllis Markgraf.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jean Markgraf; son, Jeffrey Markgraf and Jason Markgraf; sister, Gail Newman of West Bend, Wi; grandchild, Piper Markgraf; seven nephews; one sister-in-law; and two-brothers-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Christ Lutheran Church 4409 Sycamore School Rd in Fort Worth, Texas and Camp Lone Star in La Grange, Texas.
