Harold Mcdaniel

Mr. Harold McDaniel went home to be with the Lord on Saturday August 24, 2013 He passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness. His loving wife and son were at his bedside. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Harold was born on June 17, 1946 in Akron, Ohio to the late Samuel and Shirley McDaniel. He was one of eight children. Harold was an avid golfer and a faithful Christian, having been a dutiful member and usher at Crossroads Christian Church in Texas. Harold was employed by Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, Texas until his death.

He leaves to mourn his memory, his loving wife, Elena McDaniel, of Mansfield, Texas; his sons, Darren Elder, of Scottsdale, Arizona, Damon McDaniel, of Las Vegas, Dierre McDaniel (Breanne) of San Diego; his daughters, Rhonda McDaniel, of Naples, Florida, Cherise (Jermaine) McDaniel of Akron, Ohio.

Stepchildren, Elijah Pena (Jessica), Marco Pena (Lisa), and Monica Colon (Efrain); his brothers, Tommy McDaniel (Lucille), of Akron, Ohio, Bernard Jackson, of Los Angeles; sisters, Diane Winfrey (Lepoleon) Cleveland, Ohio; Katherine Beacham, and Marilyn Dukes (Levester), both of Akron, Ohio.

He also leaves nine grandchildren, Kyle, Collin, Kristen, Nathan, Nicholi, Malik, Kiara, Kaila, and Iziah. In addition he leaves to cherish his memory his four dear aunts, Oleavure Johnson, Lillie Armstrong, Lula Pittman, and Lessie Hamilton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
