Robert James McDonald passed on Friday, February 18, 2022 after a brief illness.
Visitation: 1:00-2:00pn Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Skyvue Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 2:00pm Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Skyvue Funeral Home. Burial: Skyvue Memorial Gardens.
Robert was a retired truck driver for Merchant’s motor lines. He loved trains and traveled by rail all across the country. He served his country in the United States Marine Corp reserve, served his community as a reserve police officer for the cities of Wichita Falls and Grand Prairie, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his mother Ruth Featherston Glover, his father Roy James McDonald, and his sister Sandra Baliff.
Robert is survived by his sister Janice Hoyer, wife of 53 years Ann, his four sons and daughters-in-law Robert and Elizabeth McDonald, Randy and Darla McDonald, Raymond and Karen McDonald, and Kevin and Shilo McDonald. Plus numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
