Danny Lee Mckay

January 17, 1952 — December 20, 2020

Danny McKay, 68 passed away unexpectedly on December 20, 2020.He is survived by his brother Robert McKay, daughter Kristina and her husband David Briner daughter Shariece Lewis, son Robert McKay, grandchildren Kailee, Quade, & Gavin Smith, Blade and Heather Rose, Zackary and Lucas McKay and a great grandson Oliver McKay.He was preceded in death by his parents Wendell Dean and Millie McKay, brother Dickey McKay and his best friend and wife Sharon McKay. Danny served honorably in the United States Army as a Specialist from 1969 until 1972 where he received meda ls for National Defense Service and good conduct. At the age of 40 he obtained his bachelor’s degree from Dallas Baptist University and worked for Lockheed Martin until he retired in late 2020. If you were ever lucky enough to sit and talk with him then you know how intelligent he was especially when it came to business. Nothing put a bigger smileon his face then telling the off the wall stories of living his crazy life until he met the love of his life, the one he swore saved him , Sharon, aka “Frog. ” He wore many hats, but the one that fit him the bestwas being “Papal”!Danny had a quirky sense of humor and if you knew him then you’d know.....Life ‘s a bitch, then you die!
