Steven was born on November 5, 1956 in Austin, Texas to Harold and Nelda McMahan.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Miriam and E.P. Mason, Earlene and Phields McMahan.
Steven is survived by his wife, Opal McMahan; son, Steven McMahan, JR.; daughters, Leslie Miller and husband Will, Stephanie Newsom and husband James, and Brittney Zamora; parents, Harold and Nelda McMahan; sister, Donna Stroud and husband Paul; grandchildren, Nick, Jessie, Kim, Victoria, Taiylor, Mackenzie, Blake, Eli, Jewel and Ethan; great-grandson, Oliver; nieces, Kelli and Sabrina along with numerous other family and friends.
