Carolyn Jean Moore (Williams)

Carolyn Jean Moore (Williams) of Arlington, Texas, formerly of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023 at the age of 73.

Carolyn was born August 20, 1949 to the parents of William Terrell Williams and Maggie Ann Baker.

She attended Carroll Peak Elementary, Morningside Jr. High and I.M. Terrell High Schools.

She was the single parent of two, Cedric Lee Williams and Byron Keith Williams. She later married Stanley Elroy Moore and Ashley Deon Moore was born to that reunion.

Carolyn worked for the Federal Government for over 30 years, starting with the VA Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and ending with the Bureau of Engraving and Printing as a human resources specialist where she retired from in 2011.

In her free time, Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her family, especially caring for her grandchildren.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, William Terrell Williams and Maggie Agers; and Stanley Moore.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Cedric and Esmeralda Williams, Byron and Melissa Williams, Ashley Deon Moore; brother, Bert Williams and his wife, Brenda; grandchildren, Lexxus Williams Sr., Jace Williams, Isaac Moore, Mia Moore, Ashton Smith, Danielle Williams, Shantaé Williams,; great-grandchildren, Laniyah Williams, Layla Williams, Lexxus Williams Jr., Zechariah Williams; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.

The family would like to give a special thank you to her grandchildren, Lexxus and Shantaé for all of their help in comforting and taking care of their grandmother, and to Cousin Rita for being by her side until the end.
