John Mark Moran, 15, a beloved son, brother, grandson, great grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. Entered Heaven on Friday, September 23, 2016.
Memorial Service: 3 pm Monday, October 3, 2016 at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church of Mansfield, with a additional Memorial service to follow at Creekwood Church of Mansfield for family and friends.
John Mark was born on May 23, 2001 and was currently a sophomore at Mansfield High School. John Mark was a member of the Men’s Varsity Choir, the JV football team, the theater program, and the Interact Club. John Mark enjoyed his youth group at Creekwood Church and earned the highest honor in the Royal Ranger Program in 2015, the Gold Medal of Achievement. John also enjoyed helping others and participated in a service trip to Nicaragua in 2015 and a local summer missions project with Creekwood Church in 2016.
Survivors: John Mark is survived by his father, Jason Moran and mother, Gina Moran; brothers, Seth Michael and Matthew Moran; sisters, Alexis and Grace Moran; half brother, Samuel Moran; half sisters, Shiloh and Sara Moran; Poppy and Mimaw, Travis and Wanda Moran, Grandad and Nana, Stanley and Sandi Tidwell; great grandmothers, Doris Moran and Freddie Tidwell; and great grandparents, Sam and Frances Wise; uncles and aunts, Erik and Tabatha Chovanetz, Andrew and Luwan Moran, Vance and Jaime Foster, Jared and Jennifer Salzman; cousins, Rylee and Ava Chovanetz, Ryan and Nathan O’Rourke, and Jaden and Jaxon Salzman; and many friends.
We are overwhelmed and grateful for the tremendous support that has been poured out on our family in honor of John Mark. We certainly belong to a beautiful community of friends! Thank you to all of you who have reached out to us in this time of heartbreak. We have felt your love! – The Moran Family
