Tommy Clayton Morgan, 86, of Burleson, Texas went to be with the Lord on February 12, 2015.
Tom was always proud of being born in Bon Aqua, Tennessee. He married Maxine (Parks) Morgan in 1950, started working and also became a part-time musician playing the bass fiddle in and around Nashville at recording studios and radio stations before going on to a long and successful career with Kerr McGee Oil Company. The company moved them from Nashville, to Madison, WI to Indianapolis, IN to Jacksonville, FL. Throughout the years, they made many cherished lifelong church friends and served as deacon in the church in Madison and Indianapolis, but always made it back to Tennessee for the holidays to be with family. He retired in 1992 and moved to Fort Worth so they could be with their children and grandchildren teaching all of them to sing and play music. Throughout life, Tommy loved God, family and his music. He liked both kinds of music—country and western and was always ready to pick up his guitar to sing “Will The Circle Be Unbroken” and many other songs with family and friends.
