Charlie Franklin Morris was born in Madisonville, Texas on November 5, 1937 to Charlie Curtis Morris and Elizabeth Leona McMurrough Morris. He grew up in Freeport, Texas and graduated from Brazosport High School in 1956.
He earned his BS degree from the University of Corpus Christi. While in college, Charlie met his wife Dorothy Sparks Morris. They celebrated their 53rd Wedding Anniversary on June 4, 2013.
He retired from Vought Aircraft Company where he worked as an Aerospace Engineer. His proudest career accomplishment was his contribution to the design and production of the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two young siblings, James Earl Morris and Jerry Wayne Morris.
Charlie is survived by: his loving wife, Dorothy Morris; son, Charles Randal Morris (Deborah Hinds Morris); daughters, Debora Morris and Bettina Morris McClean (Timothy McClean); brothers, Joe Morris (Dorothy), Tom Morris (Ethel), Mike Morris (Pat); sister, Helen Morris Davis (Leo); four grandchildren, Bryan Patrick McClean, Laura Elizabeth McClean, Peyton Grace Morris and Meghan Hallie Morris; as well as many other relatives and friends.
