Laurna “Annette” Mowrer (Rector)

September 3, 1962 — October 10, 2020

Laurna “Annette” Mowrer (Rector), 58, gained her Heavenly wings on Saturday, October 10, 2020, in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her family.

Annette was born on September 3, 1962, in Fort Worth, Texas to Jimmy and Jean Rector. She attended Arlington schools and worked for her family’s service station. She met and later married Kenny Mowrer and they had two beautiful strong-minded daughters, Heather Mowrer and Dena Estes.

Annette loved her family very much. She was a very hard working, caring, kind, considerate person. Annette was a wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, friend and just a wonderful person to all.

She really enjoyed getting her family together especially for holidays and birthdays. She was really proud of her Indian Heritage and loved to go visit her family in Oklahoma and make the occasional trip(s) to the casinos. She could play on the Royal Reels slots all day long.

Baking was a favorite past time of hers and she would make all sorts of tasty treats. She loved and adored her grandkids and really admired her brother Jeff and very much appreciated all of the help and support from her sister, Paula and her mother, Jean.

Annette joined her daddy, Jimmy Dale Rector in Heaven. She really missed him and would light up to talk about him when she could.

Those left to cherish her memory and continue her legacy are her Husband, Kenny Mowrer; daughters, Heather Mowrer and Dena Estes (husband D.J.); Mother, Jean Rector; Brother, Jeff Rector (wife Shirley); Sister, Paula Osmar; Grandchildren, Emma Cantu, Weston and Brooklyn Estes; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family and friends who love and will miss her dearly.
