Melissa Marie Nicodet, of Burleson, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 in Granbury, Texas at the age of 39.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00pm Monday, March 14, 2022 at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 11:00am Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Interment: Skyvue Memorial Gardens.

Melissa was born on August 18, 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas to Douglas Nicodet and Sherry Anderson Averitt. She attended Burleson High School where she graduated with the class of 2001.

She is preceded in death by her father, Douglas Nicodet; grandparents, Linda Anderson, Nic Nicodet, Ruby Nicodet.

Melissa is survived by her fiancé, Jason Christen; daughters, Rachel Christen, Kara Christen; four legged son, Cane, parents, Sherry and Robert Averitt; papa, Bill Anderson; aunts and uncles, Ronald Anderson (Sara Cosby), Debbie Meyer (Ron), Peggy Newman (Don), Diane Ellis, Joyce Nicodet Weir; many cousins, extended family members and friends.
