Norma Mijares

Norma Mijares of Fort Worth, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 18, 2023 at the age of 56.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 PM Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Skyvue Funeral Home with a rosary beginning at 7:00 PM.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Skyvue Funeral Home.

Interment: Skyvue Memorial Gardens immediately following the chapel service.

Norma was born on September 10, 1967 in Durango, Mexico to Felipe Vargas and Natividad Vasquez.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents, Felipe Vargas and Natividad Vasquez.

She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Martin Mijares; daughters and their spouses, Monica and Efien Garcia, Joselyn Mijares and Jesus Espana, Cynthia Mijares; sons and their spouses, Jose Mijares and Jessica Morales, Martin Mijares Jr. and Laura Mijares; sisters, Maria Inez Vargas, Mayra Vargas; brothers and their spouses, Norberto and Amparo Vargas, Abraham and Maria Vargas, Tereso Vargas, Jorge Vargas; grandchildren, Hailey, Ashely, Marilyn, Aiden, Marianna, Jasmine, Allison, Hugo, Olivia, Jesus, Aubrey, Elias, Leland, Kody, Mason and Kylie; nieces, Jenifer Vargas, Viridiana Vargas, Nayeli Vargas, Edna Vargas; nephew, Abraham Vargas Jr.; other family members and special friends, Dalia Salazar, Marta Garcia, Griselda Moreno; and numerous other extended family members and loving friends.
