On October 7th, 2017, at 7:29 A.M. Kelly Jean O’Brien Hunter went to be with our Lord. Kelly was 47, born March 2nd, 1970, on Long Island, New York. She grew up in Naples, Florida, where she graduated from International College with an Associates Degree in Paralegal Science and a Bachelors Degree in Business Management. She spent the last 11 years of her life in Mansfield, Texas, where she founded Live Cruelty Free Animal Rescue. Over the course of 10 years Kelly saved countless animals, ranging from cats and dogs to birds and opossums. Her love and dedication to helping God’s creatures was matched only by the love and dedication she had for her family.
Kelly is survived by her husband, Paul Edward Hunter, her 3 children, Kelcy Leigh Rumley, Ronny Ray Rumley, and Thomas Paul Hunter, her 2 best friends, Andrea Kaplan and Kristen Stoker, her 3 brothers, Michael, Danny, and John O’Brien, and her 3 cousins, Joni Iadevaia, Stephen Iadevaia, and Julia Iadevaia-Rowland. Kelly was preceded in death by her mother, Carolee Ann O’Brien, her father, Thomas James O’Brien, and her Aunt and Uncle, Joni and Frank Iadevaia.
Kelly has found her forever home.
