Lucy Chioma Oyi, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022 at the age of 48.
Visitation: 1:00-2:00pm Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Chapel Service: 2:00pm, Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Burial: Skyvue Memorial Gardens, Mansfield, Texas.

Lucy was born on November 27, 1973 to Nweke and Lucy Kalu in Arochukwu, Imo State, Nigeria.
She was very motivated when it came to her education and proudly achieved receiving her BSN from Southwestern Adventist University, Keene, Texas and then her Masters in Nursing from South University, Savannah, Georgia. She then went on to work as a Registered Nurse at the Federal Bureau of Prison in Fort Worth, Texas.
Lucy was also a very devout woman and her church family at The Redeemed Christian Church of God, House on the Rock, Grand, Prairie, Texas, meant the world to her.
In her free time, she loved to shop, volunteer, and pray. Her caring spirit will be deeply missed by those that knew and loved her.
Lucy is preceded in death by her parents, Nweke and Lucy Kalu; and sister, Amuche Kalu.
She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Linus Oyi; daughter, Daniella Oyi; sons, Patrick Oyi, Christopher E. Oyi; sisters, Hannah Okwara-Orie and Comfort Kalu; nephew, Albert Kalu; special friend, Rita Ezeli; numerous other extended family members, church family and friends.
