Sandy Palmer, known to many as “BeBe”, was called home on July 22, 2022. She was the daughter of Harry and Meyrl Palmer, of Newark, Texas where she spent most of her childhood. She made her home in Saginaw, Texas, where she raised her four children.
Sandy was one of the strongest people you could ever meet; independent and stubborn but also kind and generous. She was a “Daddy’s Girl” and missed him terribly until her last breath. She was so proud to have his trademark red hair and it was often the subject of conversation with those she encountered.
Her cooking skills were unmatched, and her chocolate pie was a family favorite every holiday. She enjoyed reading and shopping and most importantly, helping others and spending time with the people she loved.
In her 73 years, Sandy accomplished a legacy of love by caring for children in her home. By doing so, she helped many families and made countless friends, many of whom kept in touch with her even after their children were grown. She was a light in our lives and influenced many with her selflessness.
Sandy would say her greatest accomplishments were her 4 children, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was very proud of each one of them.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Meyrl Palmer.
Sandy is survived by her daughters, Shelly Flores and husband Mario, Dustie Sanders, Shannon Lassiter and husband Jason, her son Scotty Vickers, her grandchildren Brandie Ortiz, Keeli Woods, Riley Morales, Sidney Vickers, Alex Flores, and Tyler Sanders, great grandchildren Jaelyn, Genesis, Ezekiel, Jordan, Aaliyah, Elias, Ariyah, and Jahdiel.
