Barbara Patterson

Barbara Ann Patterson, 78, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, March 23, 2017.
Graveside Service: 11 am Monday, March 27th at Skyvue Memorial Gardens in Mansfield, TX.
Born on April 13, 1938, Barbara spent her time on Earth as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Barbara became "Nan" when she was blessed with her first grandchild. All friends and family came to know "Nan" as the most thoughtful, gentle and caring woman whose selfless ways inspired others to do the same. In her later years, she worked in the Cafeteria for the Boyd ISD, where she became "Nan" to the community as a whole. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all those around her.
Preceded in death by mother, Beatrice Jackson; Father, Jesse Brogdon, Sister, Audrey Dye; Brother, David Brogdon; Daughter-in-law, Mary Patterson; and her niece, Belinda Dye.
Those to cherish her memory include: Bill Patterson, Children: Sheila Freeman and husband Brian, Wesley Patterson, Becky ONeil and husband Billy. Grandchildren (10): Alisia, Wesley Jr, Brandy, Jeremiah, Allyson, Michael, Paige, Jared, Lauren and John. Great-Grandchildren (12): Jordan, Brady, Caleb, Hailie, Collin, Athena, Bayley, Brynley, Bristyn, Jayd, Addyson and Trey, Brothers (3): Richard Brogdon, Donald Brogdon and Doug Brogdon.  Numerous extended family and countless friends.
