Mason Tyler Patton, 26, of Fort Worth Texas passed away on October 17th, 2022.
Mason was born on October 4, 1996 to Michael Patton Sr. and Megan Goodwin in Fort Worth, Texas. From the beginning, he brought a light into this world that will never be diminished. Even during the hardest of times, Mason had the uncanny ability to make anyone laugh. You would never see Mason without a smile on his face.
Mason’s dream was to become a UFC fighter and he was well on his way to fulfilling that dream. Mason’s talent was unmatched, and his drive to become a fighter inspired many. Although MMA is a tough sport, Mason excelled with grit and passion.
Mason wasn’t just a fighter in the ring. He would also fight for you and with you, no matter what anyone was going through. From always lending a listening ear to his magnificent gift of encouragement, Mason would always be there to support the people around him. Mason genuinely had the biggest heart. Mason, simply put, was great.
Mason will be remembered by his family and friends as a joyous, kind, goofy, supportive, and fun-loving man. His light and love had a way of connecting people from all walks of life. May we all take a page out of Mason’s book of life and dance like no one’s watching, love hard, and find joy in every moment.
Mason is survived by his father Michael Patton Sr. His mother Megan Goodwin and her husband Grant Goodwin, his brother Michael Patton Jr. brother Dale Goodwin and sister Joie Goodwin. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his nephew.
He is preceded in death by his “Mee Mee” Gail Nickerson, “Grandaddy” Jerry Smith, “Granny” Jeanice McCallum, and “Papa” Norman Patton.
Mason’s life will be celebrated at Skyvue Funeral Home in Mansfield on Saturday, October 29th at 10:00.
