Ronald Edward Peterson, 78, a longtime radio personality and dirt track racing announcer, took the checkered flag and crossed into victory lane on Sunday, May 17, 2015.
Memorial service: 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Thorp Spring, 2815 Lipan Highway, Granbury.
Ron was a longtime disc jockey and beloved personality. He was preceded in death by his wife and the love of his life, Elaine.
Survivors: Son, Robert Peterson and his wife, Stephanie; grandson, Jack; niece, Kaiti Daniels; granddaughters, Haley, Rhonda and Sloan; and grandson, Jason Price.
