Phyllis Josephine Jones

Phyllis Josephine Jones has gone to be with the Lord on September 23, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas, at the age of 77.

Phyllis was born on May 11, 1947 in Cambridge, Ohio, to Margaret and Gilbert Jirles. She grew up in Cambridge, and later married David Jones on August 12, 1966 in Center, Ohio, then finally settled in Burleson, Texas. She was a daycare provider, a member of Graceview Baptist Church, and loved to spend her time playing board games, dominoes, and spending time with her grandkids.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Gilbert; her brother, Tim Jirles.

Phyllis is survived by her husband of over 58 years, David Jones; her daughter, Jenny and Kevin Fry; her sons, Mark and Bridget Jones, and Tracy Jones; her sister, Marge Harris; her brother, Tom and Roseann Jirles; her grandchildren, Dillon Jones, Lillian Jones, Kamron Fry, Jordyn Fry, Kason Fry; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
