James E. Pixler, was born on April 14, 1944 in Fort Worth, Texas. James served in the U.S. Navy from 1962-1965. On August 22, 1964 he married Linda Pixler, whom he was married to for 53 years. In life, James loved to play racquetball, travel, hunt and fish. He also loved to preach. He pastored in Fort Worth, Texas from 1980-1999, but preached throughout his life for over 50 years. James Pixler entered into rest on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the age of 74. He loved his family and he loved life.
Service: 11:00 am Tuesday at Northgate Pentecostals: 4647 City Pointe Drive, North Richland Hills, Texas, 76180. Visitation: 6-8 pm Monday at Skyvue Funeral Home: 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd. Mansfield, Texas 76063. Interment: Burleson Memorial Park.
Preceded in death by his parents, Edmond and Tennie Pixler; sisters, Billie Joyce Cooper and Dolores Oliphant; brother, Marvin Pixler; granddaughter, Kirsten Pixler.
Survivors: Loving Wife, Linda Pixler; daughter, Teresa Napper (husband Til Napper); sons, Steve Pixler (wife Jeana Pixler) and Tim Pixler (wife Lisa Pixler); sister, Nancy Cole; grandchildren, Todd, Talisa, Travis, Tanner and Tiara Napper, Alaina, Natalie, Nicolas, Christopher, Ana, Ella, Luke, Mikayla and Allison Pixler; numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends.
