Robert L. "Bob" Pratt

August 5, 1935 — November 24, 2020

Robert (Bob) L. Pratt
Born August 5, 1935, in Annapolis, Missouri. He passed away on November 24, 2020 and on that day joined his mom and dad in eternity. Bob was a family man, he loved his family. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Arunee Pratt, a son and 2 daughters, Cristopher Pratt, Anna Maclachlan, and Christy West, grandchildren John and Annie and 3 great-grandchildren Austin, Kevin and Shay. Bob served US Army 82nd Airborne, (Sp4-Rigger), AB Division and earned his wings in the division. After his terms were up in the Army he immediately landed a job with Missouri Specific Railroad, (MOPAC) as a track inspector. (The railroad runs in the family-- his dad, most of his uncles and cousins are railroaders). When the Mopac and the Union Specific Railroad, (UPRR) merged, he became one of civil engineer design manager over new and industrial track projects in Dallas, Houston, and in Omaha. After 35 plus years with the RR and retired, he joined DESIGN NINE INC, and continued designing as engineering services for railroads and in the industry. (He also managed the surveyors as well. (He loved and was very good at what he did and was well respected by his peers.), said one of his RR peers, Jack P. He was a handy man, loved the great outdoors, boating, fishing, camping and hunting. He found someone sharing this love and passion of the great outdoors to share his life with him, the love of his life, Arunee. Bob is flying high to eternity with a second set of wings he earned and he will be fondly remembered by all of those he loved and who loved him and he will be greatly missed by many..i
