Michelle Purgason

Michelle Denise Purgason, 47, passed away peacefully from this life to her heavenly home on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. Michelle, known fondly to many as 'Missy', was born in Fort Worth, Texas on November 9, 1969, and was residing in Fort Worth with her companion, Keith Knott, at the time of her passing. She spent many of her childhood years and youth growing up in Joshua, Texas where she was an honor student in High school. Missy loved the Lord and was proud of her Christian faith, reading her Bible often. She lived a very humble and simple life, and in spite of a disability Michelle was blessed with a giving heart. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Chelsea Hayton, in 2010. Michelle is survived by her mother, Patty Worley and husband Dennis of Fort Worth, father, Michael Childers of North Richland Hills, sister, Amanda Smith of Covington, brother, Chad Childers and wife Jeannie of Grandview, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Michelle left us far too soon, but we will cherish the sweet memories of her life that will live on forever in our hearts.
