Quentin Joshua Podrovitz

Quentin "Josh" Podrovitz of Krum, Texas, passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 44.

Josh was born on March 2, 1979, to George Wayne Podrovitz and Diana LaKaye Votaw in Quanah, Texas, and lived in Abilene, Texas for a period of time.

Josh attended the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Avondale, Arizona and worked in many different fields, including culinary arts, motorcycle mechanics, and in the oilfield. He enjoyed blade smithing, cooking, music, jewelry crafting, camping, and gaming with his sons.

Josh was a gentle giant with a huge heart. He loved very strongly and was always there for family and friends. His smile would light up a room and steal your heart. He will be deeply missed.

Josh is preceded in death by his daughter, Arianna Renee Podrovitz; his father, George Wayne Podrovitz; his sister, Deidra Georgette Podrovitz.

Josh is survived by his ex-wife, Christina Podrovitz; his two sons, Xavier Quentin Podrovitz and Gabriel Dalton Podrovitz, of Arlington, Texas; his mother, Diana Lakaye Podrovitz, of Merkel, Texas; his two sisters, Amy Podrovitz Gilbert and Michael Gilbert, Melissa and Daniel Drury, of Abilene, Texas; his brother, Anthony and Jaime Podrovitz, of Abilene, Texas; his nieces, Kristin and Kyle Johnsons, of Clyde, Texas, Kaitlyn and Joshua Bovino, of Jerrell, Texas, and Deidra and William Lindsey, of Abilene, Texas; his nephews, Braydon Podrovitz, Ayden Drury, O'Ryan Podrovitz, Anthony and Andrew Podrovitz, Jackson Podrovitz, and Jaydon Podrovitz; girlfirend, Stephanie Melton and her children, Stark and Serenity; other family and special friends include his childhood friend, Marty Kemp; his fellow knife enthusiasts; all those that knew and loved Josh.
