James Ratcliff

James C. Ratcliff, 85, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014.
Service: 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Skyvue Victoria Chapel. Interment: Rendon Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Skyvue Funeral Home.
James was born in Whitehouse. He graduated from Whitehouse High School and joined the U.S. Air Force in 1948. He served honorably for 20 years and retired as a technical sergeant. Jim then settled with his family in Rendon in 1970 until the present.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Ratcliff; parents, John and Elizabeth Ratcliff; siblings, Minnie Mizzles and Leroy Ratcliff; and granddaughter, Misty Byrd.
Survivors: Loving wife, Mae Ratcliff; children, Vernon Ratcliff, Terry Crafton and Cathy Swift; stepchildren, Steve Lackey, Gail Lackey, Mark Lackey, Carolyn Brewer and Debbie Eaves; siblings, Johnny Ratcliff, Eleanor McMillan, Margie Kirkpatrick and Mamie White; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
