Bill Gene Reid, 85, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013.
Funeral: 11 am Wednesday, Sept. 4, at Cornerstone Apostolic Church. with a visitation to start at 10 am. Burial: 2:15 pm Wednesday, at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Bill was preceded in death by daughter, Marcia Reid, parents, Cecil and Wallace Reid; brothers, Wallace, John and Francis Reid.
Bill served 4 years in the U.S. Navy and received an Honorable discharge as a Boatswain's Mate Third Class.
Survivors: Loving and Devoted Wife of 59 years, Marjorie Reid; sons, Bill Reid and wife Prisulla, Phil Reid and wife Jodi; daughter, Marcella Sample and husband Derrick; brother, Norman Reid; sister, Mary Wade; grandchildren, Lorraine, Tori, Bradley, and Nicholas Reid, Claire, and Averie Samples.
