Robert "Bob" Aubrey Shipman

Robert "Bob" Aubrey Shipman, 94, a Fort Worth resident, has passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024, in Fort Worth.

Bob was born March 25, 1930, in Bonham, Tx, to parents Carlos Raymond Shipman and Annie Mae Matthews. He graduated in 1948 from Grand Prairie High School. He joined the United States Navy in 1948 and was on active duty until 1952. Bob married Kathlene Myers in 1960. He was member of First Baptist Church of Kennedale. Bob was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing with family and friends until he was 85 years old, and he really enjoyed playing dominos, especially 42.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Carlos and Annie; his sister, Helen; his brothers, James, Dwain, Danny, Joe, Kenneth, and Gene.

Bob is survived by his wife of 63 years, Kathy Shipman; his children, Greg and Valerie Shipman, and Shelly and Scott Wooden; his five grandchildren, Brice, Aubrey, Shalie, Lucas, and Landon; his numerous nephews and nieces.
