Dean Lewis Rogers was born to Sherman C. Rogers and Kathleen Marie (Revoir) Rogers on May 21, 1942. He was married to Marlene Rosemary Kirby on February 22, 1963. After 52 years of marriage, Marlene preceded him in death on April 30, 2015; and his oldest son but second born child, David Clinton Rogers, also preceded him in death on September 28, 1990. He is survived by his oldest daughter and oldest child, Cynthia Marie Rogers; youngest daughter, Dena Michelle (Rogers) Love; and youngest son, Niven Eugene Rogers. He is also survived by three grandsons and two great-granddaughters. Oldest grandson, Brandon Scott Rogers, was born to their eldest daughter; second oldest grandson, Joshua Lewis Rogers and youngest grandson, Chancellor Zion Love, was born to their youngest daughter. Oldest great granddaughter, Heather Michelle Hubych, was born to Brandon’s wife Amber Michelle (Rains-Mooney) Rogers and Matthew Hubych and youngest great granddaughter, Hayley Scott Rogers was born to Brandon and Amber.

Dean was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He drew his last breath at 1:23am on Thursday, September 12, 2019, departing this temporary home to his eternal home with Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior. He was baptized into the Community Church of Christ in Lowndes, MO, where he was laid to rest with military honors next to his beloved wife and son. Even though he struggled often, he never stopped believing in his Lord and Savior. He put everyone else above himself and he will be greatly missed by family and friends.
