Michael J. Rooney, 78, a retired deputy sheriff, passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012.
Service: 2 p.m. Friday in Skyvue Victoria Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Survivors: Loving wife, Lavonne; children, Jimmy Littlejohn, Michael, Mark, Steven, Joey and Kathleen Rooney, and Mary Twill; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous other relatives and friends.
