Rosa Juarez Ledesma

Rosa Juarez Ledesma, of Arlington, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2025, at the age of 90. She was born on June 8, 1934, in Pénjamo, Guanajuato, México, to Benito Juarez Patiño and Angela Rodriguez Juarez.

Rosa married the love of her life, Antonio Gomez Ledesma, on January 5, 1962, in Pénjamo, Guanajuato, México. Together, they built a beautiful life and were blessed with two sons, Antonio (Tony) Juarez Ledesma and Philip Jesus Ledesma.

Rosa attended school in Pénjamo and later found her passion for cooking, working in her brother’s restaurant, Rosita’s Armory Café, in Salinas, California. She became well-known in the Salinas community for her exceptional culinary skills, bringing joy to many through her delicious meals.

Her faith was a guiding force in her life. Rosa attended Temple de Guadalupe in México and later Saint Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Arlington, Texas. She was a devoted prayer warrior for her family, always finding strength in her love for the Lord.

Rosa had a deep appreciation for nature and found solace in tending to her beloved plants and flowers. She had a special gift for reviving sickly plants and helping them thrive, surrounding her home with beauty and life.

She was a loving and devoted grandmother to her two grandsons, Benjamin Garrett Ledesma and Jonathan Paul Ledesma. Rosa cherished every moment spent with them, providing unwavering care, love, and wisdom. She also took great joy in passing down her cherished recipes to her sons and daughter-in-law, ensuring her legacy of cooking would live on.

Rosa is survived by her sons, Tony Ledesma of Arlington and Philip Ledesma and his wife, Tammy Ledesma; and her adored grandchildren, Benjamin Ledesma and Jonathan Ledesma. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Antonio Ledesma; her sisters, Francisca Gonzales and Angelina Juarez Delgado; and her brothers, Jesse Juarez and Benito Juarez.

She leaves behind a loving extended family, including her nieces Olga Gonzales, Hilda Muñoz Gonzalez, Angelica Delgado Juarez, María Eugenia Gonzalez, Yolanda Gonzalez, and Rose Marie Clark, as well as her nephews Cutberto Gonzalez, Miguel Gonzalez, José Gonzalez, Jaime Juarez, and Jesse Juarez Jr.

Rosa’s kindness, faith, and generosity touched all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.

A funeral service will be held to honor Rosa’s life, Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 2:00PM at Mansfield Bible Church
