Rufina R. Bills (Romero)

Rufina R. Bills (Romero) was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 16, 2023, in the comfort of her own home in Mansfield at the age of 90.

Rufina was born in Tecalitlan Jalisco, Mexico on July 10, 1933, to Rafael Romero and Santos Presicado. She moved to Del Rio for some time before living in Mansfield, Texas.  Rufina married Chester Bills in 1998.  She was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista and Iglesia Bautista Berea.

She is survived by her husband, Chester Bills; daughter, Mary and Javier Torres; sons, Abe and Katherine Major, Lupe and Angelica Ceballos, Francisco and Teresa Ceballos; sisters, Olivia Hernandez and Delfina Rodriguez; grandchildren, Joanna Blackman, Jiselle Torres, Javier Torres Jr., Julian Torres, Jacob Major, Isaac Major, Ariana Major, David Ceballos, Jesus Ceballos, Virginia Gomez, Melinda Ceballos, Miguel Ceballos, Ricardo Ceballos, Joe Ceballos, Melisa Fountain, Christina Mueller and Rafael Ceballos; and many great-grandchildren.
