Samuel Everette Mack, a devoted husband, loving father, and pillar of his community, passed away on October 7, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness. Born on November 8, 1959, in Fort Worth, Texas, Samuel was the shining light in the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
From a young age, Samuel showed a strong work ethic and a commitment to service. After graduating from O.D. Wyatt High School, he embarked on a career in HVAC-Agriculture. His dedication and expertise earned him great respect among his colleagues and clients alike. Samuel's meticulous attention to detail and passion for his craft made him an invaluable asset to the industry.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Samuel was proud of his military service in the Navy. He served with honor and integrity during his time in the armed forces and developed lifelong friendships that he cherished throughout his life.
While Samuel excelled in his career and military service, his proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly his loving marriage to his wife Toby Kay Mack for 39 beautiful years. Their bond was built on love, trust, and unwavering support for one another. Their partnership served as an inspiration to all who knew them.
Samuel's dedication extended beyond his immediate family; he had a special knack for connecting with people and making them feel valued. Known as everyone's local handyman, he always lent a helping hand without hesitation. His broad smile paired with kind words brought comfort to those around him.
In his free time, Samuel pursued his passions for gardening and nurturing nature's beauty. His green thumb transformed every corner of his garden into a vibrant oasis that provided solace not only to himself but also to any visitor lucky enough to witness its splendor.
Samuel is survived by his beloved wife Toby Kay Mack; sons Samarion Evans and Megan Evans; Sam Mack Jr. and Kimi Mack; Antiwann Evans; sisters Nicole Davis, Debra Mack, and Carolyn Nelson; brother Michael Nelson. He also leaves behind a cherished legacy through his grandchildren Saraya Evans, Samarion Evans Jr., Sienna Evans, Laila Evans, Samaya Mack, Lyric Mack, Kingston Mack, Alanna Evans, Micah Evans. Additionally, he is mourned by a host of loved nieces and nephews.
During this difficult time, Samuel's family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to those who offered their support and condolences. They extend a special thanks to Mr. Ben, Eric Evans, Pamela Haywood, Tina and Vernon Coleman, and Marrion Haywood for their steadfast love and friendship.
A visitation will be held in Samuel's honor on October 12, 2023, at Skyvue Funeral Home located at 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd in Mansfield, Texas. The visitation will take place from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. It is an opportunity for friends and family to come together to celebrate Samuel's life and share treasured memories.
