Jose Refugio Sanchez, of Venus, Texas, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at the age of 85.
Visitation: 4:00-8:00pm Thursday, March 16, 2023 at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 10:00am Friday, March 17, 2023 at Skyvvue Funeral Home.
Interment: Skyvue Funeral Home, Mansfield, Texas.
Jose was born on July 4, 1937 to Hortencia Adame and Agapito Sanchez in Mexico.
He was an incredibly hard worker all of his life, was a very respectful man and instilled that same respect in his children. He loved to fish, raise chickens and hens but more than anything, he loved being a grandparent. Jose lived life to the fullest and brought joy to everyone around him. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Jose is preceded in death by his wife, Andrea Villarreal Sanchez.
He is survived by his sons, Martin, Jesse, Jose, Refugio and Agapito; numerous grandchildren, extended family members and loving friends.
