Georgia Jean Snow Scott, 72, stepped out of this life into eternity with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, March 13, 2018.
Service: 10:00 am Saturday at Retta Baptist Church, 13201 Rendon Road, Burleson, Texas 72028. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 pm Friday at Skyvue Funeral Home in the Victoria Chapel, 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Road, Mansfield, Texas 76063. Interment: Skyvue Memorial Gardens.
Jean grew up in Borger, Texas and graduated from Borger High School in 1964. She was a teacher for 25 years at the Mansfield Tarver-Rendon Elementary School. Jean was a really dedicated teacher who loved her children and had a great reputation for reaching difficult children.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Betty Snow along with her brother, Bobby Snow.
Jean is survived by her loving husband, Wayne Scott; sons, David (Veronica) Sessums, Mike (Sue) Sessums, Paul (DeAnna) Scott and James (Michelle) Scott; daughter, Sandy (Ray) Diaz; 16 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and numerous other loving family and friends who will miss her dearly.
