Sharon Felts

Sharon Felts was born July 16, 1965, in Fort Worth, Texas. She passed away May 14, 2023, in Burleson, Texas.

Memorial Service: 6:00 PM Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Skyvue Funeral Home. There will be a designated time during the services for family and friends to share memories if anyone chooses to do so.

Sharon was a loving mother, dedicated daughter, committed friend, inspiring teacher, talented artist, and one of the world’s kindest souls.

Her kids Brittany, Kolby and Kati were her world. She served her family with her whole heart. When her kids were younger, that involved running to countless sporting events, attending performances, creating art, scrapbooking, spending time with family, and going on adventures. 

She spent her days making memories with them and raising them to become people who would share love in a world that needs it. As her children grew up and married, her grandchildren Gavin, James, Madison, Olive and Hallie became her pride and joy.

For decades, she followed her passions for teaching and art, encouraging creativity and uniqueness in the younger generation. Her impact on this world lives on through her family and the thousands of young lives she touched. 

Sharon is survived by her daughters, Brittany Hill and husband Brandon, Kati Coonrod and husband Richard; son, Kolby Felts and wife Jessica; mother, Peggy Burns and husband Thomas; sisters, Lindsay Sassman and Amie Sassman; brother, Rob Sassman and wife Althea; grandchildren, Gavin Toomer, Hallie Felts, James and Olive Coonrod and many more loving family members and friends.

Alongside her father Robert Sassman and granddaughter Madison Coonrod, today Sharon is fully healed in heaven with Jesus.
