Sherrena Eileen Grubbs-Causey, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on September 3, 2023, in her hometown of Fort Worth, Texas. She was born on September 18, 1965, at the age of 57.
Sherrena dedicated her career to the field of Private Home Health Care, where she touched the lives of many individuals with her compassionate and selfless nature. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering dedication made a significant impact on those under her care. Sherrena's genuine concern for the well-being of others shone through in every aspect of her work.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sherrena led a rich and fulfilling life. She possessed an array of hobbies and interests that showcased her creative spirit. Sherrena had a beautiful singing voice that captivated all who had the pleasure of hearing it. She would often strum chords on her guitar, creating melodies that resonated with joy and emotion. Additionally, she found solace in expressing herself through drawing, effortlessly bringing images to life on canvas. She also found great joy in feeding Chase's cows and cherished every encounter with all animals she came across.
Sherrena is preceded in death by her father, William Grubbs; mother, Sandra Grubbs; brother, Billy Grubbs.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Greg Causey; son, Chase Grubbs and wife, Natasha of Granbury, Texas, Alex Bailey, of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Megan Barba of Fort Worth, Texas; brothers, Johnny Grubbs and wife Laurie of Granbury, Texas, Ricky Grubbs and wife, Anita of Burleson, Texas, Joe Grubbs; grandchildren, Carter Grubbs, Juliana (Bunny) Castillo, Jose Gomez, Joselyna Gomez, Sebastian Barba, Emiliano Barba; nephews, Jason Grubbs, Craig Grubbs, and Cody Grubbs; nieces, Leslie Grubbs and Lindsey Holt; Aunts, Linda Schultz, Glenda Grubbs, Darlene Hufstutler; several cousins, extended family members, and lifelong friends, Tammy Bonham-Rowell, Lisa Lawley-Harveston, and many more.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Sherrena's life on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Skyvue Funeral Home located at 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd in Mansfield, Texas. The service will begin at 11:00 am and conclude at 12:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider making a donation to an area food bank or animal shelter in memory of Sherrena.
Sherrena leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her kind and nurturing spirit, coupled with her talents and passions, leave an indelible legacy of love, compassion, and creativity.
