Funeral: Noon Friday in Skyvue Victoria Chapel. Interment: Skyvue Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Skyvue Funeral Home.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Ruth Simmons; and brother, Melton Simmons.
Survivors: Sons, Kevin Simmons and wife, Laura, and Darryl Simmons; former wife, Donna Simmons; sisters, Jan Varner, Jeanine Myers, Charlene Brown, Sharon Coons and Cherry Fisher; and grandchildren, Cloe, Kaden, Tim and Lilah.
