Sharon Smith

Sharon Ruth Smith was born on August 8, 1945. After a courageous 9-year

battle with cancer, Sharon passed away peacefully on August 3, 2016.

She was one of eleven children of the late Horace and Fannie Smith. She was

preceded in death by her parents, the father of her children, Ronald Wright,

brothers Ricky and Gene and sisters Pat and Lala. Sharon will forever be

remembered and loved by her children Frank and wife Deborah, Wayne and wife

Lisa and Stephanie and husband Aaron. Grandsons: Cody and wife Brittany,

Justin and wife Farryn, Colton and Ryan. Great- granddaughters: Maddie, Abbie

and Charlee. Brothers James, Ray, Joe and sisters Pauline, Donah and Johnnie

along with many nieces and nephews and friends whom were blessed to know

her.

Sharon loved her family, fishing, hummingbirds, wild flowers, going to the casino

and playing the “duck” slot machines and her special place at Lake of the Pines.

Visitation will be held at Skyvue Funeral Home, 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd

(FM 1187), Mansfield, Texas 76063 on August 4
th
between 6–8pm. A memorial

service on Friday, August 5th at 10am also at Skyvue Funeral Home with burial

at 3pm at Woodland Cemetery in Woodland, Texas.
