John R. Stout, of Mansfield, Texas, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the age of 77.
Visitation: 12:00-1:00pm with the family in the Atrium at First Methodist Mansfield Church.
Celebration of Life Service: 1:00pm in the Sanctuary at First Methodist Mansfield Church.

John was born on November 22, 1944 in Byrd, Texas to William H. Stout and Margaret L. Stout (Holmes).
After graduating high school, he attended 2 years of college at Baylor. He then went on to work in sales for Ennis Business Forms and he also owned Broadway Recording Studio.
He was a devout member of First Methodist Mansfield Church and attended Bible Study Fellowship for 5 years. In his free time, John loved to read, play music and sing. At one time he had the opportunity to play with the Texas Playboys. John’s ability to touch lives through music was a gift that will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Margaret Stout; brother, Alan Don Stout.
John is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Sunny Stout; daughters, Amy Elizabeth Temple and husband Brian, Pam Schuman and husband Kevin; son, Robert Pentecost and wife Jessica; sister, Sharon Reid and husband Ron; sister-in-law, Sue Wilkinson; grandchildren, Kalie, Lindsey, and Lexie Schuman, Monica Pentecost, Robert Pentecost, Kristina Morales and husband Marcus, John Cooper, Evin and Ella Mae Temple; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Malachi, Barret Morales; nieces, Kelly Kuhlman and husband Jay, Jessica Wilkinson nephews, Brad Reid, Matt Reid, Chris Reid and wife Karen; and numerous other cousins, extended family members, loving friends and music associates.
