David L. Stover, 83, passed away on May 5, 2022.
Visitation: 11:00 and 12: 00 pm Tuesday, at Skyvue Funeral Home.

David was born on February 27, 1939, in Singleton, Texas to Thomas Elton Stover Sr. (Railroad Dispatcher) and Pauline Elsie Luker (homemaker). He graduated Teague High School in 1957. David married Carol Ann Stover in Eagle Lake, Texas on June 25, 1966. He then graduated the University of Houston in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. David worked as an electrical engineer at Geo Space in Houston for 20 years, then Bell Helicopter until he Semi-retired in 1993. He then bought a small repair company ‘Naomi’s Surface Repair’ and worked until fully retiring in the late 2000s. He Enjoyed going to airshows, was a railfan, doing genealogy research, tinkering with electronic devices, listening to all kinds of music, playing video games (Minecraft was his favorite) and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Elton Stover Sr. and Pauline Stover; brothers, Thomas Elton Stover Jr. and Paul Stover; sister, Carolyn Ivy; wife Carol Ann Stover.
David is survived by his sisters, Connie Crouch and her husband Gary, Patricia Roberson; brother-in-law, Mack Ivy Sr.; sister-in-law, Cindy Stover; sons, David Wayne Stover, Daniel Stover and his wife Alicia; grandchildren, Michelle, Brandon, Brad and his wife Courtney, Meghan and her husband Bryce, Taylor and husband Dante, Jacob and Chloe; great-grandchildren: Ryleigh, Emyleigh, Kennedy, and Shepherd.
