It is with heavy and broken hearts that we announce the death of Michael James Sullivan.
Michael was born on December 3, 1981 in Dallas, TX and left this world on November 13, 2022 in Mansfield, Texas. He grew up and lived most of his life in Mansfield and at an early age he formed strong bonds with those who surrounded him in school and within the Mansfield community. Michael himself was very loyal to those he loved,and could be counted on to be there whenever someone was in need; He listened, loved, and did as much as he could for others. Along with his love for family and friends, Michael loved his Dallas Cowboys. It was
Michael’s big heart and his love for life that drew so many to him - and is what will remain in our hearts as we remember him.
Michael was 40 when he died and is preceded in death by his mother, Espiridiona Z. Sullivan, and is survived by his nineteen-year old daughter Ava Deon Sullivan and his twelve-year old son Issac Michael Sullivan. He is also survived by his father James P. Sullivan, brother Raymond Lee Mata and wife Jean Mata, sister Connie Ann Ward and husband Roger Ward Sr., sister Beth Ann Cooper and husband Shane Cooper, 10 nieces and nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
