Dr. Joan Franchesca Tate

Dr. Joan Franchesca Tate went to be with the lord on Friday, January 15, 2021, at the age of 78.
Memorial Service: 10:30AM Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Skyvue Victoria Chapel.
Dr. Tate was born in Fort Worth, Texas on March 30, 1942 to her loving mother and father, John Astor Tate and Mary (Wilbur) Tate. She was an exceptional student as she grew into adult hood through the years gaining a PhD in Christian Psychology. She worked for many years dedicating her life to the Treasury Department of the U.S Government specifically the IRS department. When Dr. Tate did have some free time she loved to attend the West Side Baptist Church and was even a member of the church choir.
She is survived by daughters, Kelley and husband Lawrence Hopkins, Tracey and husband Glenn Rock; sisters, Dawn and husband Len Jackson, Mildred Tate; brother, Michael Tate; grandchildren Jillian, Brittany, Justice, Sean, Lauren; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Jaslene; nieces Rosalyn, Ashlei; Nephew, Benjamin; half-sister, Anita Brooks, Cheryl Stubblefield; half-brother, John Tate and many more loved family and friends.
