Love Tennison

Love Tennison went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 30, 2020 at the age of 79.
Chapel Service: 1:00 pm Saturday at Skyvue Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior.
Interment: Skyvue Memorial Gardens.

Love Tennison was born on January 31, 1941, in Troup, Texas to Martha and Elmer Tennison. Love accepted Christ at an early age and became a minister at the age of 18. He was an active member of Prayer of Faith Temple and preached his last sermon in 2017 before his health declined.

Love married lovely ladies throughout the years, and he was blessed with 6 of the most precious gifts, his children. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend who left great memories for his love ones to cherish.

Preceding him in death are his parents Martha and Elmer Tennison, his brothers Rev. Raymond Tennison, Rev. George Tennison, W.C. Tennison, Willard Tennison, Larry Tennison, Leon Tennison, his sisters Rev. Elretha Thompson, Kareese Vales, Alreese Franklin, Earlistene Williams, 2 grandsons, and a granddaughter.

He will be truly missed by all who knew him. Love leaves to cherish his memory his loving 1st wife Mildred Tennison, sons Dwight Tennison (Bethany), Timothy Tennison (Lillie), Rick L. Davis, Love Tennison Jr (Kassandra), daughters Mildred Johnson, Betty Franklin Tennison, brother Walter Tennison (Capri), 12 grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
