Matthew Tims

It was early one afternoon, Super Bowl Sunday to be exact on January 27th of 1991 (the same day of his papa’s birthday) that Paul and Lisa Tims were blessed to have a bouncing screaming baby boy. After much thought, they decided to name him Matthew Paul Tims.

Growing up, Matthew was a very creative individual, that sincerely enjoyed the simple things of life. Matthew had a heart of Gold, and a personality that would brighten up anyone's day that he came in contact with.

Matthew attended Burleson High School and graduated in June of 2009. He briefly studied at Tarrant County College and then decided to work in the family business and do lawn care.

In his spare time, you would find Matthew Sleeping, playing Soccer, Paint Balling, Dirt Biking but his most favorite thing was spending time with his three beautiful children affectionately known as the “Triple A Club”, Avery, Aiden, and Ashton.

Even though Matthew had a challenging journey, full of different life changing events, he lived his life to the fullest, and made a lasting impression with every single person he came in contact with.

On Friday, February 12th, 2016, Matthew crossed the finish line of this life, and went to sleep in heavenly peace, and woke up in heaven greeted by his grandfather Fred Byrd.

Matthew leaves to cherish life time memories; His Beautiful Children the “Triple A Club”, Avery, Aiden, and Ashton Tims, His loving parents, Paul & Lisa Tims, one sister, Lacey Tims, grandparents, Sue McGlothin, Frankie & Bobby Tims, Significant other of seven years Jessica Tillery and a host of other relatives and friends.
