Carla Turner

May 28, 1976 — December 27, 2015

On a cool spring day in the great city of Arlington, Texas May 28th, 1976,to be exact, a precious baby girl was born to Carl and Brenda Smith. They
decided to name their precious gift Carla Ann.
Carla grew up in the Mansfield area, attended Mansfield High school and then graduated in spring of 1994. In August of 1984, in the hollowed walls of New Hope Baptist Church, Carla met the love of her life Wayne, it was love at first sight. After a short period of courting, Wayne asked for
his soul mates hand in marriage, and were joined together in holy matrimony.

Carla accepted Christ at an early age, She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Kennedale where she used her God-given talents. She
loved her church home and remained a faithful member serving as the Director of Children's Ministry.

Carla had a contagious smile that left a great impression on anyone she met. She was full of energy and always concerned about the well-being of
others. Carla was devoted to her children – Aaron, Abigail, Wyatt, Brylee, and Presley. She loved spending time with her children and close friends.

Carla was an active participant of the PTA and Vacation Bible School. You could find her camping with family, enjoying the precious time laughing
and spreading joy to everyone around her.

On December 27th, 2015, Carla heard the master say “Well done thy good and faithful servant”, and transitioned from earthly labor, to her heavenly
reward. She has now been reunited with her Grandfathers Sonny Boy Smith and Larry Tepfer, Grandmother Mary Tepfer, and Little Granny.

She leaves precious memories to her loving husband, Wayne Turner, her beautiful children, Aaron, Abigail, Wyatt, Brylee and Presley Turner,
loving parents, Carl & Brenda Smith, her sister, Laurie & Mathiew Remington, her brother Duane & Adrianna Smith, grandmother, Mary Smith,
in-laws, Larry & Jane Turner, Will & Althea Turner, Theresa Turner, Jay & Erica Turner, very close and special friends Pastor Brian & Pam Eason, the entire First Baptist Church of Kennedale Family and a host of other loving family and friends.
