Vernon Exta Godsey Jr.

Vernon Exta Godsey Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024, at the age of 64.

Vernon was born on September 12, 1959, in St. Paul, Minnesota to Vernon Exta Godsey and Lula Mae Myers Godsey. He graduated from Paschal High School. Vernon served our country in the United States Army. He married Juanita Christina Perez Godsey in Galveston, Texas. He really enjoyed watching the Texas Rangers, TCU and golf.

Vernon is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Godsey; ex-wife, Lisa Godsey; brothers, Billy Godsey, Benny Godsey and Jim Godsey.

He is survived by his sons, Vernon Exta Godsey III, Brad Godsey and wife Fran Godsey, Kevan Godsey; sister, Mary Brisky; brother, Charlie Godsey and wife Mendi Godsey; grandchildren, Cameron, Grace, Trinidy, Tyler, and Joaquin; many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
